Malaysia Prime Minister
extends Movement Control order until 28 April

We are stronger together.

UPDATED 11-Apr., Kedah, Malaysia - These are trying times for our global economy.  Nearly every country is affected by the recent COVID-19 pandemic.  And yet, while we face an uncertain future, our best bet is on each other.  Only together, as one, will we fight through these challenging times, by staying at home, avoiding large crowds, and keeping our distance.

On March 18th, the federal government of Malaysia implemented a preventative measure called the 2020 Movement Control Order (Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Malaysia 2020) to curb the rapid spread of the disease caused by the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2).

This Movement Control Order (MCO), was initially expected to be lifted on the 30th of March, but has since been extended twice, first until the 10th of April, and now until the 28th of April.  Further extensions in the MCO may be possible.

To our customers - we understand that some of you are awaiting the processing, production and/or shipment of your orders.  Despite our best efforts, the Malaysian government has not exempted Asia Plywood Compand Sdn. Bhd. from the MCO, therefore we expect all of our orders to be suspended until further notice.

We will continue to update this page to let you know when we expect this situation to change.  For now we are still checking and responding to emails and can queue up your order for approval and production while we await further instructions from our government.  We appreciate you patience while we get through this together.
